If you are using LucidaBright + LucidaNewMath and LucidaBright-Expert
with PSNFSS in LaTeX 2e with AMS LaTeX 1.2, then make sure you have
the modified `lucida.dtx' + `lucida.ins' from us, rather than the older
versions now on PSNFSS directory on CTAN.  Please send email if you do
not have these modified `pre-beta' test versions of the June release.

Also make sure you have the latest version of the AMS TeX package from CTAN.

I am using latex2e with amsart. I tried noamsfonts option, \Bbb and
\mathbb are not defined.

P.S. I am using the dec 94 release of latex2e + amslatex 1.2 beta 2 +
psamsfonts option since the .df files I generated happened to be the
one correspondes to psamsfonts.

Well, you're right.
I've looked up the code in lucbr.sty
and there \Bbb is (re-)defined only if amsmath (more exactly
amsfonts) is not used. :-(
You can resolve this by defining
  \let\mathbb\bbold
Then you will get the LucidaFonts even for the last line.

I think the name has been changed from amstex.sty to amsmath.sty .
It is in .../latex/packages/amslatex at the CTANs.
